People of Missouri, Get Fit!

Monday, August 24th, 2009

People of Missouri, it’s time to get up off your couches, and get to work. I am claiming the month of September as the official Health Awareness Month. Get healthy, not just to look good, but to feel good as well. Take control of your life and your health. I am challenging everyone to spend at least 45 minutes a day on treadmill ( like the Nordic Track) and to try get your cardio activity to at least an hour a day within a month’s time. In addition, I am encouraging everyone to stop buying junk food and to start eating healthy fruits, vegetables, lean meats, and drink plenty of water. If you are a terrible cook, try the Medifast Diet….it will save you time and stress. So people of Missouri, Get Fit!!!

Health Care Reform

Monday, August 17th, 2009

I know we are all watching and waiting to see what President Obama is going to do about healthcare, but in the mean time, it’s time for you to take care of your own health! If you aren’t exercising for at least 30 minutes a day, you need to be. You don’t have to join a gym, although 24 Hour Fitness has great rates this season. you can just as easily walk around your neighborhood or in a nearby park. In addition, you need to take control over your diet; that means eating properly a balanced meal everyday. If you have problems keeping up with this, there is always the Medifast diet plan that is great for people on the go! Don’t wait for the government to fix health care, when you can reduce the costs yourself by taking care of your health
